How We Started
Since 2021, leading independent cardiology groups in Arizona and Texas have partnered with USHV with the goal of building an MSO. As a result, they consolidated administrative work, improved quality metrics, and demonstrated how physicians can stay in charge while gaining the benefits of scale. Practices in Kansas, Alabama, and Louisiana soon adopted the same approach. The effort reflected early trends in cardiology practice management: shared infrastructure, transparent metrics, and physician governance.
Today, over 200 cardiovascular specialists across the country share a common EMR platform, advanced analytics, advanced imaging and ambulatory surgery center access, and group purchasing power. Each practice maintains its own brand identity, leadership, and ties to the community. Collaboration follows four principles: kindness, clarity, respect, and a commitment to measurable quality.
Experienced Leadership at Every Level
National and Local Clinical Governance Boards– Practicing cardiologists determine best practices, evaluate technology, track outcomes in real time, and evaluate new therapies.
Executive Operations Team
Experienced healthcare operators oversee finance, compliance, technology, and multi-site integration.
Integration & Growth Specialists
Teams support ambulatory surgery center development, payor relations, and recruitment so new partners scale efficiently.
Governance, Compliance, and Ethics
USHV operates under physician governance and meets Corporate Practice of Medicine requirements in every state we serve. USHV’s dedicated compliance organization maintains HIPAA-secure data exchange, cybersecurity, billing accuracy, and ongoing ethics training so clinicians can focus on patient care and stakeholders can trust the process.
Why Cardiovascular Physicians Partner with USHV
Local leadership with clear decision rights
Local Clinical Governance Boards set all clinical protocols and collaborate with management on priority initiatives.
Central infrastructure increases innovation at scale, reduces paperwork
Central revenue cycle, HR, legal, supply chain, and IT take administrative burden off clinicians.
Analytics that drive action
A single data platform highlights cost, readmissions, and adherence trends to fine-tune care and document value for payors.
Growth that fits the practice’s timeline
Capital, purchasing scale, and field-tested teams support ASC, recruitment, and new diagnostics. Together, these services support scaling cardiology practices while keeping clinical leadership local.
Highly Coordinated Network Impact
- Faster access to diagnostics and outpatient procedures as office-based capacity expands.
- Lower readmissions and total cost of care through aligned pathways.
- Multi-state research collaborations that advance complex cardiovascular treatment.
We also invest in patient-engagement tools such as secure portals, connected devices, and remote monitoring so that patients can track blood pressure, medications, and follow-ups in real time.
Looking Ahead
USHV is targeting regions where independent cardiologists want scale without losing clinical leadership. Upcoming initiatives include expanded remote monitoring for heart-failure patients, broader value-based contracts, and research partnerships with academic centers. Each project serves one purpose: better outcomes for more patients under physician direction and continued progress toward the future of cardiovascular healthcare.
