New physician practices and specialists join the physician-led platform as USHV expands access to advanced outpatient cardiovascular care.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — April 2026 — US Heart & Vascular (USHV), a national cardiovascular practice management platform, today announced the addition of new physician practices and specialists across Texas and Louisiana, continuing the organization’s growth as the leading platform for physician-led outpatient cardiovascular care.

New partners joining USHV include:

  • Davis Vein & Vascular, a Houston-based comprehensive vascular clinic specializing in the diagnosis and innovative treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), Osteoarthritis (OA), varicose veins, spider veins, and venous insufficiency.
  • Samuel Family Cardiology, providing comprehensive cardiac care in the southern Houston region with patient-centered emphasis on physical and mental well-being.
  • Cardiovascular Clinic of Covington and Heart Clinic of Hammond providing cardiac care and advanced diagnostics to patients across Louisiana’s Northshore region.
  • Patrick J. Welch, MD an independent cardiac electrophysiologist in Lafayette, Louisiana, who will provide advanced outpatient procedures at Cardiovascular Specialists of Acadiana’s Surgery Center.

Together, these partnerships expand access to specialized cardiovascular services for patients across multiple growing markets in the Gulf Coast regions.

“Each of these partnerships reflects the same core principle that drives our organization — empowering physicians to lead the future of cardiovascular care in their communities,” said Robbie Allen, Chief Executive Officer of US Heart & Vascular. “As we continue expanding our network, we are also investing in the tools and infrastructure that allow our physician partners to deliver better access, better coordination, and better outcomes for patients.”

Across the platform, USHV is launching several initiatives designed to enhance the patient experience and expand access to advanced cardiovascular care. These include new outpatient imaging clinics, outpatient ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and expanded value-based care solutions, including a 24/7 cardiac nurse hotline that connects eligible patients with clinical guidance when they need it most.

The organization is also rolling out a renewed suite of patient engagement and AI technologies — including Phreesia, Thesis and Cedar — alongside its enterprise eClinicalWorks EMR platform, helping to streamline scheduling, communication, and payment experiences for patients.

Additionally, USHV is expanding partnerships with leading payers, including new value-based programs with major insurers, designed to improve care coordination and outcomes for thousands of Medicare Advantage members.

“Our physician partners are committed not only to clinical excellence, but also to innovating how outpatient cardiovascular care is delivered,” Allen said. “By combining physician leadership with advanced technology, coordinated care programs, and new outpatient capabilities, we are building a model that improves patient access and long-term heart health across the communities we serve.”

As demand for cardiovascular care continues to grow, USHV remains committed to recruiting outstanding physicians and clinical professionals who want to practice medicine in a patient-centered, physician-led and professionally managed cardiology platform dedicated to innovation, independence, and exceptional patient outcomes.
